Claycove23 Insurance Tech Pvt Ltd (the “Company” / “CoverSure”) adheres strictly to information technology and data protection laws, rules and regulations, including but not limited to, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. The Company understands the importance of and prioritizes the protection of personal data or information. This Privacy Policy (“the Policy”) specifies the manner in which personal data or information is collected, received, stored, processed, disclosed, transferred, dealt with and handled by the Company in relation to your use of our website and mobile applications (collectively, the “Services”). The Company owns the brand name “CoverSure” and operates the website – www.coversure.in (the “Website”) and related software application platform for mobile devices (the “App”) (collectively hereinafter referred to as “Platform”).

1. Purpose of Collection & Usage of Customer Data

   
   

   The personal information in this Policy includes but is not limited to, information the Company:

   
   
   1. collects from you when you register on the Website and/or the App for use of services, or when configure your details within the Company’s systems, such as your name, electronic mail address, password, phone number location information (GPS, IP address and cell tower location) and other details;
   2. collects from you related to the manner and mode of payment such as details of your bank account, credit card, debit card, net banking, web-wallets;
   3. stores regarding your content received or initiated using the Website and/or the App including but not limited to, details of the phone numbers and call recordings; and
   4. automatically receives and records on its server logs from your internet browser, including but not limited to your IP address, cookie information and details of the web pages you request;
   5. collects from you to comply with regulatory requirements, such as your KYC details based on your consent from regulated Central KYC Registry;
   6. collects about you from certain third parties based on your consent to personalize your experience on the Website and/or App;

2. Gmail Account Access

   
   

   You may choose to provide explicit consent to access / integrate your Gmail account(s) with the Platform. You can choose to grant your explicit consent to connect your Gmail account with CoverSure account (using Google’s OAuth authentication method).

   
   
   1. Information collected from your Gmail account(s) are emails / attachments from insurance companies which has your insurance related details. CoverSure organizes the information gathered from all the existing insurance policies and provides a portfolio overview, the various features and benefits of the insurance policies, insurance coverage, reminders for timely renewal premium payment, ability to register claims from a single platform, personalized risk assessment and advise for appropriate insurance type and adequate cover.
   2. The advantage of providing access to your Gmail account is that all the existing insurance policies would be uploaded to your CoverSure account and would have very little chance of missing out on any insurance policy.
   3. It should be noted that CoverSure shall use such data solely for providing the Services and improving the User experience.
   4. Before giving consent to integrate the Gmail address with CoverSure account, we encourage the User to review the information mentioned in the Privacy Policy.
   5. You may opt to de-link your Gmail account(s) with CoverSure by clicking on the de- link option given in the app or revoke permission to CoverSure in your Gmail account settings.
   
   

   NOTE:

   • CoverSure's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
   • Any information that is freely available or accessible in public domain or furnished under the Right to Information Act, 2005 or any other law for the time being in force is regarded as Public Information or data for the purposes of Rules.
   • No information of any nature other than the ones mentioned above in clause I and II is accessed by the Company.
   
   

   We may use personal information for the following purposes:

   • To share your Personal Information with insurance companies ("Insurance Companies") for the purpose of facilitating the issuance and service of your insurance policies;
   • To improve customer service on basis of the information you provide which helps us to respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently;
   • To personalise user experience: We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Website/App;
   • To improve our Website/App: We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services
   • To process payments: We may use the information Users provide about themselves when buying or renewing a policy only to provide service for that policy. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide service;
   • To run a promotion, contest, survey or other Website/App feature
   • To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them;
   • To send periodic emails;

   You hereby acknowledge and agree that cookies may be used for the Company’s implementation and use of display advertising.    1. the Company uses and may continue to use Cookies for remarketing; and
   2. the Company and third party vendors, may use first party cookies and third party cookies together to inform, optimize and serve you based on your and/or others’ use of the Website/App.

It is our continuous endeavour to safeguard our as well as our client’s information. The Organizational Leadership is committed to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the business information through continual improvement about information security to our staff and stakeholders.

   
   

   We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Website/App.

   
   

   Sensitive and private data exchange between the Website/App and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted. While we take every step to safeguard the confidentiality of your Personal Information, by using the Website and/or the App, you agree and confirm that the Company is not liable for any negligence, disclosure due to errors in transmission or unauthorized acts of third parties or Linked Sites.

You hereby acknowledge and agree that your continued use of the Website and/or the App constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy and any updates hereto. It is User’s responsibility to review this Privacy Policy from time to time on the Website and/or the App, in order to keep track and take note of the changes.

   By using this Website and/or registering yourself at www.coversure.in and/or using or registering yourself on the app, you authorize the Company to contact you via email or phone call or sms or whatsapp or app notification and offer you our services for the product you have opted for, imparting product knowledge, offer promotional offers running on the Website and offered by its business partners and associated third parties, for which reasons your information may be collected in the manner as detailed under this Policy. You hereby agree that you authorize the Company to contact you for the above mentioned purposes even if you have registered yourself under DND or DNC or NCPR service(s). Your authorization, in this regard, shall be valid as long as your account is not deactivated by either you or us.

   
   

   You hereby acknowledge and agree that when you use the Website and/or the App, there may be certain links which may direct you to/from other websites or applications not maintained by the Company (the “Third Party Website”). The manner in which your Customer Data is collected, received, stored, processed, disclosed, transferred, dealt with and handled by such Third Party Websites is governed by the terms and conditions and privacy policy of the respective Third Party Website. You hereby further acknowledge and agree that the Company has no control over the Customer Data in such an event. The Company urges you to acquaint yourself with the terms and conditions and privacy policy of every such Third Party Website and in this regard, the Company hereby expressly disclaims all liabilities with respect to the manner in which the Third Party Website collects and/or uses the Customer Data.

7. Redressal of Grievances

   
   

   If at any time you have questions or concerns with respect to the Privacy Policy, please feel free to e-mail the Company at compliance@coversure.in or write us at below mentioned address. The Company shall seek to redress your grievance/complaint within 14 days from the date of receipt of the grievance/complaint given there exist no further information/investigation pending. While registering a grievance/complaint, you are kindly requested to quote your account details for the Company’s reference to enable it to effectively resolve your grievance/complaint.
